"Motherhood is neither a duty nor a privilege, but simply the way that humanity can satisfy the desire for physical immortality and triumph over the fear of death." -- Rebecca West.

"So when the great word 'Mother!' rang once more,
I saw at last its meaning and its place;
Not the blind passion of the brooding past,
But Mother -- the World's Mother -- come at last,
To love as she had never loved before --
To feed and guard and teach the human race." -- Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

"A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie." -- Tenneva Jordan.

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY, dearest mom!
(:

all the love and thought you've put in for me these past 15 and a 1/2 years of my life, i'll never forget them.
thank you for being the gr8est mom, ever!

sweetards- you mess with one, you mess with us all.

had a great outting on friday (:
okay, i was feeling tired and all, and sorry girls, i wasn't exactly into the whole high mood but i enjoyed myself (:

so anyway, we went to watch 200 pounds of beauty and it was soooo touching!
i swear, almost almost everyone was tearing by the end of the movie.
though it gave me the creeps on doing a boob job(hurt that your boobs will hurt when touched after awhile or su'm), the quirky show really presents inner beauty to us- right in our face.
like, how the manager guy liked naturale beauty and the fat girl even though she didnt look good.
and being so beautiful, does not mean he'll like her immediately.
so.. it gives us something to think about huh? (:

as i was saying;
we watch the fab movie and then wondered around..
took alil pics and stuff.
just realised that cine is friggin' deserted now eh!
what happened to the ever-happening movie place??
guess it goes to show that people are really fickle.
give them a new, better cinema. and they fly there like bees making their last journey. abandoning the old, fond place that holds many memories dear.
no no, i am not saying that choosing to go to the newer cinema is bad.
i am just using it as an example to show how we humans can so easily forget the gool ol' days when life throws us something that looks better.

whooo.
life as a shopoholic is pretty fun sometimes.
and the sweet satisfication of getting your desired object of lust(for now)
and then the thrill of looking for the next hot thing.
so i guess, it pretty much sums up life huh?

life's good. and when you finally FINALLY get what you want,
you suddenly don't want it as much. instead, you want something else.
somethings you think is better.
but to your dismay, you find out that it's not worth it when you achieve it.
i guess, it's part and parcel of our lifestyle that we fail to notice it?
''it seems one thing's been true all along. you don't really know what you've got til' it's gone.''
and when one does notice it, will one look back and miss it?
will one try to get it back? to save it before it's too late?

we all have choices and make mistakes.
but some mistakes are just...

regrettable.
